Congratulations you've passed your test.

Welcome to indepedence. Getting your own car is just like selecting first 'gear'. The cost of insurance can be high for new drivers. Its down to a lack of experience behind the wheel. Research shows that new drivers are most likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving life. Regardless of age/ability or whether you cover alot of miles or drive to your local shops.

Pass Plus is a scheme aimed at helping develop your ability and gain experience in a variety of road and traffic situations (ie: motorway driving) that you would not have encountered on your practical driving test.

It could save you money on your car insurance. On compleletion of the pass plus scheme you will recieve a certificate to acknowledge the tuition and experience gained. A number of insurance companies offer discounts to holders of this certificate, that can result in a lower insurance premium.
